About

Hi,
My name is Jayson Ortilla, a father of three wonderful kids, full-time employee, bird enthusiast and breeder.

My short story

My interest in african lovebird begun more than three years ago, when i first bought my first pair of african lovebird. I enjoyed feeding, caring and watching them, also i startes to do some research on how to care and breed it. I joined african lovebird communiy and facebook groups to gain insights on how to care for lovebirds. Upon gaining some knowledge i bought additional pairs of lovebirds to start breeding. I got so excited when mg first pair laid an egg. I’ve waited over a month but suddenly it doesn’t hatched. I asked some breeders about it and found out that it us quite normal for first time parents to lay unfertil eggs. To be honest i’m a bit frustrated that time, but i know it’s a part of being a begginer. I continue to do additional research because i found myself still hungry to learn more about african lovebird breeding.
Then after a month my that same pair laid another batch of eggs again and thankfully they are all fertile and hatched. I was amazed to saw the chicks develop from day to day. Now my lovebirds are starting to grow more and more and i even sell some of my young produce.
